After being a busy single mum of two boys and experiencing the confusing feelings of an empty nest during the time of Covid, I found myself realising the briefness of our time here on this planet and the importance of having a purpose. Feeling the emptiness of my children’s independence after years of consistently making things happen. Not wanting to be hanging on the coat tails of my children who were now busy with their own lives, I knew I had more to give and explore. I felt a desire to move to Portugal where the climate was more conducive to my happiness. Feeling the cold long winters in the UK was not something I relished and the call to warmer climates and new adventures began.

This is where my digital nomadic ideas sprang from and from there, Costa Rica, New Zealand, Fiji, Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Bali and Malaysia became my homes during the next 2.5 years. Each country offering such new and diverse experiences opening up my mind to ideas I had never even imagined prior to my adventures.

Living by my own rules and truly embracing and experiencing life to the full opened up new and exciting adventures beyond my wildest dreams.

As soon as I was able I packed up my home of 24 years and shipped my possessions over to Portugal where the realisation of unplugging myself from the system and the feeling of TRUE FREEDOM hit me hard. Never before had I realised how owning your own home ties you into a system that keeps people on a treadmill. With the realisation of not requiring a fixed base, I felt the freedom of being able to explore new cultures and experiences through traveling. This is where my mind began an expansion I could never have imagined or believed without having experienced it first hand. This is where I put my TRUST in ME allowing myself to move to my own tune and follow my natural rhythm which is what each one of us is designed to do. I took the quantum leap of faith with the inner knowing that the universe has my back and put it to the test.
